Is there a minimum for requests/bookings?
Yes. At this time, there is a $1,000 minimum for catering requests and private chef services. Please keep in mind that this DOES NOT include additional fees such as chefs fees, and transport fees.
What is included in Drop Off Services?
Drop Off services include drop off of food items in sturdy pans and/or trays. Food will be hot and/or warm and ready to serve. Set up/break down, servers, chafers/warmers, water pans, utensils, rental of burners, decor, condiments, and any disposables of any kind are not offered in drop off services.
What is included in Private Chef services?

What kinds of events does Nina Eats cater?
Birthdays, Baby Showers, Bridal Showers, Weddings, Receptions, Rehearsals, Graduations, Memorials, Baby Dedications, Family Reunions, Corporate Events, Ribbon Cuttings, Conferences, Milestones, Holiday Parties, and Anniversaries are among some of the many events Chef Nina has been blessed to be a part of.
What areas does Nina Eats serve?
Nina Eats services Charlotte, NC and surrounding areas as well as other States. Please inquire about traveling accommodations outside of North Carolina.
How far in advance can I book?
Generally, 1-6 months is ideal. In rare instances, requests made 2 weeks or less are accepted and require full payment.
Can I be 'penciled' in to book?
All bookings require a 50% deposit along with a signed contract to secure the date requested. Nina Eats cannot save a date without a deposit.
I was in the process of moving forward. Why is the date suddenly no longer available?
Oftentimes, there are multiple requests for the same date. All bookings require a 50% deposit along with a signed contract to secure the date requested. If there is another party that moves forward before you can book, the date will no longer be available and you may not be notified. It is at the discretion of Nina Eats, if the date can be double booked.
I tried to access a file and the file is expired or no longer exists. Can it be reactivated?
Files expire after several days. While we understand that inquiring clients may be looking at their options, files cannot be reactivated multiple times or after a lapse in communication. Reactivation of files are at the discretion of Nina Eats. Please be deposit ready when making requests.
How many people can Nina Eats accommodate?
We typically can accommodate up to 150 people comfortably. Note that this maximum number is dependent on the fare desired.
How many people does a half and full order feed?
Generally, half orders/trays feed 12-15 people, while full orders/trays feed 24-27 people. Note that these numbers are dependent on portion size.
Does Nina Eats offer Tastings?
While we understand clients wanting to test food prior to placing orders, at this time, tastings, nor samples are offered. Tastings are reserved for weddings only.
